Springbrook National Park
Welcome to Springbrook
beautiful waterfalls and stunning mountain scenery
Springbrook is a community in the Gold Coast Hinterland, within the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia (formerly known as the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves). The area includes the most extensive areas of subtropical forests in the world.  Few places on earth contain so many plants and animals which remain relatively unchanged from their ancestors in the fossil record. Springbrook has the most rare and threatened species of any area in South East Queensland.

Springbrook offers an escape to another world - a world where nature, heritage and community come together. Visitors will find much to enjoy amongst the wateralls, hiking trails and lookouts. Unspoilt by excessive commercialisation, Springbrook is home to an amazing variety of wildlife, from the rare Albert's Lyrebird to Rosellas and Bowerbirds, and from the majesty of Ancient beech trees to canopies of spreading ferns.  Here you can relax in the heart of a protected rainforest, wonder at the stars glimmering in the clear sky from our own observatory, and visit a nearby colony of glow-worms.  And we are only half an hour from the Gold Coast.

Visitors are welcome to stay in one of the many
retreats or cottages on Springbrook plateau, and enjoy the shops, cafes and gift shops that are our village.

This site is brought to you by Springbrook Chamber of Commerce as a service to visitors, to chamber members and to local businesses and residents. If you would like your Springbrook business displayed on this website, please contact the webmaster.
